Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Commish HQ (the “Service”), operated by Commish HQ (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Commish HQ connects to your fantasy football league on a third-party platform (such as Sleeper or ESPN) and uses artificial intelligence to generate league content — recaps, rankings, previews, newsletters, and similar material — and, where you enable it, to post that content to and interact within your league’s group chat. Features may change over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Third-party platforms

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Sleeper, ESPN, Telegram, Discord, and Slack. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms. You represent that you have the right to connect your league and to add our bot to any chat where you install it, and you agree to comply with those platforms’ own terms. Your use of them is governed by their terms and policies, not ours.

4. Subscriptions, billing & trials

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis. The base plan includes a set number of leagues, with an additional per-league charge beyond that, as described at sign-up. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel at any time and will retain access through the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change on prospective notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage limits; reverse engineer or interfere with the Service; upload content you don’t have the right to; or use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others. We may suspend or limit accounts that violate these Terms.

6. AI-generated content

Content produced by the Service is generated by AI and is intended for entertainment. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected, and it does not represent our views. You are responsible for reviewing content before you post, publish, or otherwise rely on it, and for how it is used within your league.

7. Your data & intellectual property

As between you and us, you retain rights to your league data and the content generated for your league. You grant us the license needed to operate the Service — to ingest, process, store, and display your data and generated content to provide the features you use. We retain all rights in the Service itself, including our software, models, and branding.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party (including the third-party platforms you connect).

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date, and material changes will be communicated as required. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
